About
Hello, I’m Rifna Farwin Rajabdeen.
I am an English Language Teaching (ELT) researcher and educator with an MA in TESOL from Nottingham Trent University, UK. My work focuses on primary English education, storytelling, vocabulary development, literacy, and research-informed classroom practice.
My research explores how storytelling and visual story mapping can enhance vocabulary learning and reading comprehension among young learners. I am passionate about creating engaging, practical, and evidence-based teaching strategies that support teachers, parents, and children.
I have published and presented work in English language teaching and continue to contribute to the field through educational articles, classroom resources, and professional development.
Through The Learning Journey, I aim to share:
- Research-based teaching strategies
- Practical classroom activities
- Literacy and vocabulary resources
- Ideas for primary teachers and parents
- Educational articles inspired by current research
Thank you for visiting. I hope these resources inspire meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences for every child.
